The role

At Legora, keeping our clients data safe is our main priority and core business. In order to maintain our high standard we are now expanding the security team. Our clients handle some of the world's most sensitive information, and we help them safely use the latest technologies to work with that data – an enormous responsibility that we are committed to excel at.
As an Information Security Specialist at Legora, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining the security framework as well as being a point of contact for our international clients. You’ll help build and drive our strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and protect sensitive data, empowering our mission to revolutionize the legal industry.

What you will be doing:

• Work together with our Security Lead and CTO as well as some of the smartest engineers in the industry to secure the future of legal tech
  develop, implement, and maintain the company’s information security policies and procedures.
• Help driving compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2
• Assist in the execution of regular security audits, risk assessments, pen-tests and compliance checks.
• Aid in communication with external stakeholders regarding security related topics
• Educating employees on data security and implementing organization-wide awareness programs.

Who you are

• You have 1-2 years of experience in information securitiy or similar role.
• You have good knowledge of information security principles, risk management and data protection frameworks.
• You have at least some experience with compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO27001, SOC2, ISO42001
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence security culture across teams, and ability to engage with external stakeholders in security related topics
• Interest and/or knowledge of GenAI is a big plus
